PulseModem A is an APRS client application that is designed to retrieve and relay APRS location data and messages. APRS is a digital communication protocol enabling the exchange of information across a vast network of stations, encompassing both local and global reach.

For licensed Amateur Radio operators, the ability to transmit and receive APRS location data and messages is facilitated through two main avenues: direct connections to the APRS-IS Network and transmissions via amateur radios operating in the VHF Band at 144MHz.

Moreover, a complete AX.25 software AFSK modem is included to support off-the-grid operations. Notably, internet connectivity is an optional component within this system.

It's important to acknowledge that APRS is a registered trademark owned by Bob Bruninga, highlighting the significance of respecting intellectual property rights in this field.
